Jacob & Co. has revealed one of the most extraordinary timepieces in the history of haute horlogerie: the Astronomia “Gates of Olympus,” created as a Pièce Unique — a one-of-a-kind watch that will never be made again.
The piece is a direct and deliberate tribute to Gates of Olympus, the wildly popular online slot game developed by Pragmatic Play. The reference is unmistakable: the crowned Zeus figure wielding a glowing blue lightning bolt, the Greek temple backdrop, and even the “Gates of Olympus” logo on the dial are lifted straight from the slot game’s iconic visual identity. Released by Pragmatic Play in 2021, Gates of Olympus became a cultural phenomenon in online gambling, known for its tumbling reels, multipliers, and its central character — Zeus, depicted in exactly the style seen on this watch: muscular, crowned, white-bearded, and holding an electric blue thunderbolt.
Jacob & Co. has faithfully recreated that figure in extraordinary three-dimensional hand-painted form, complete with glowing eyes and a luminous lightning bolt that lights up in the dark.

A Dial Like No Other
For the first time in Jacob & Co.’s history, the brand has positioned the dial entirely above the movement — not resting on it, but integrated within it. The result is a fully dimensional scene rather than a traditional flat display. Olympus does not sit on top of the mechanics. It exists within them.
The dial features a hand-painted depiction of Zeus surrounded by clouds, Greek temple columns, and a glowing blue flame. The exposed movement occupies the left side of the dial, its gears and bridges forming part of the scene’s architecture. On the right, a sub-dial carries the “Gates of Olympus” inscription alongside the Jacob & Co. Genève signature.
The JCAM63 Caliber: 503 Components, Three Axes
Beneath the mythological scene lives the exclusive Jacob & Co. JCAM63 caliber, composed of 503 individual components. At its heart is one of the most complex complications in all of watchmaking: the triple-axis tourbillon.
The entire regulating organ rotates continuously across three separate, independent axes — a level of mechanical motion almost never seen in the industry. The three axes rotate at different intervals: one every 60 seconds, another every 18 seconds, and a third every 15 seconds. The combined effect is hypnotic, constantly shifting perspective and never presenting the same view twice.
The Case & Strap
The watch is housed in a rose gold case set with baguette-cut diamonds along the lugs, and is worn on a vibrant purple rubber strap — a bold contrast that reflects both Jacob & Co.’s signature approach to colour and the unmistakable palette of the slot game that inspired it. The caseback, engraved with “ASTRONOMIA” and the Jacob & Co. Genève logo, reveals the movement architecture through twin apertures.
