Crypto gambling platform Duel.com introduces its first PvP game, letting players wager directly against each other with no rake, no edge, and winner-takes-all payouts.
Duel Casino has officially launched Rock Paper Scissors as the first in a planned series of player-vs-player games. Unlike traditional casino titles where the house holds a mathematical advantage, RPS pits users directly against each other — with winnings going entirely to the winner and nothing skimmed by the platform.

How it works
A player creates a game, sets a wager size, and waits in the live lobby. Opponents can browse open games and join with one click. Once both players ready up, a 10-second countdown begins — each must lock in their choice before it expires or risk an automatic loss.

How to win: strategies & tips
RPS is theoretically a 50/50 game of pure chance — but human psychology introduces real exploitable patterns. Here’s how to get an edge on your opponent:
Exploit the “loser switches” bias
Winners repeat their throw
Rock is the most common opener
Scissors is thrown least often
Break your own patterns
Use the 10-second window
Streamer wins $100,000 against Duel’s own founder
The game has already produced its most dramatic moment yet. Canadian streamer TheGoobr went head-to-head in a single RPS match against Ossi Ketola — the founder of Duel, who goes by the nickname Monarch — each putting up $100,000 for a $200,000 winner-takes-all pot.
TheGoobr took it all.

The 0% edge model — how does Duel profit?
The obvious question when a gambling platform offers a zero-edge game: what’s in it for them? PvP games like RPS serve as a draw — bringing players to the platform who may also engage with the higher-margin slot games where Duel does hold an edge.
What’s next
Duel has described RPS as “the first of many PvP games,” signalling an expanding category of head-to-head formats planned for future release. The game is currently in beta, and additional PvP titles are in development.
