  • Is CoinsBack Casino a Scam?

CoinsBack Casino launched in April 2026, and it’s already doing something genuinely different from the social casino crowd. The core idea is simple: you get 50% of the house edge back on every single spin, win or lose, instantly. No waiting, no approval process, no minimum loss to qualify. That’s the hook, and it’s a good one.

It’s built by Richard Skelhorn, the founder of MetaWin, a crypto casino platform — so there’s real operator experience behind this.

Just to be clear upfront — CoinsBack is a social sweepstakes casino. There’s no real money gambling here. You play with Gold Coins (GC) for fun, and Sweepstakes Coins (SC) which can potentially be redeemed for prizes. More on how that works below.

CoinsBack is fun — but it’s sweepstakes only

If you want actual crypto payouts, CryptoCasino.cc is worth a look — instant withdrawals, no KYC, and a well-established reputation.

Signing Up

Registration is a three-step process: Account, Details, then Bonus. You can sign up with Google or manually with a username, email, and password.

Step two asks for your first and last name, country, state, and date of birth. You’ll need to check a box confirming you’re at least 21 years old and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before proceeding.

After that, phone number verification via SMS is required. You’ll get a 6-digit code sent to your number, and you can’t proceed without entering it. This is mandatory, not optional.

One thing worth knowing: by providing your phone number, you’re consenting under the Privacy Policy to receive pre-recorded voice messages and autodialed calls and texts from CoinsBack. That includes promotional messages, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list.

One real user complaint spotted on launch day: a player reported they couldn’t change their profile name to match their ID exactly, which caused friction with the verification process.

Games

CoinsBack has 445 games at launch. The library is organised into clear categories.

Classic Slots has 69 games and is almost entirely Betsoft titles. These are the kind of polished, character-driven 3D slots Betsoft is known for — think The Slotfather, Gladiator, Mr. Vegas, Genie’s Fortune. Good quality, familiar style.

Hold and Win is the biggest category with 72 games, dominated by 3 Oaks titles like 3 Coin Volcanoes, Coin Volcano, and the 15 Dragon Pearls series, alongside Betsoft entries. These are the coin-collect mechanic games that have become hugely popular in recent years.

Hold and Spin has 11 games from a more varied mix of providers — Betsoft, Atomic Slot Lab, BGaming, Habanero, NetGaming, and RubyPlay. Titles include Crazy Jokers, Egyptian Magic, Kraken’s Hunger, and Pirate’s Awakening.

Low Spins has 49 games, all Betsoft, covering a wide range of their back catalogue including At the Copa, Boomanji, Gypsy Rose, and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

Shooting Games has 14 games, all from JILI. These are the fish/shooter-style arcade games — Beast Fishooter, Dino Shooter, Fortune Zombie, and similar titles. A niche category but a fun one.

Megaways has just 2 games — Book of Cats Megaways and Book of Panda Megaways, both from BGaming. If Megaways slots are your thing, that’s going to feel very thin.

The New Games section shows 445 games total, with providers including Hacksaw Gaming titles like Le Digger, Marlin Masters Atlantis, and Le Fisherman, alongside Gladiator and Booming Games titles like Berserkin Buffalo Power Hit.

The Popular section shows 29 games, led by 3 Oaks content like 3 Coin Volcanoes and Coin Volcano alongside Betsoft titles like Gold Tiger Ascent and Hot Lucky 7s.

There are no table games, no live dealer, and no poker at CoinsBack. If you’re looking for blackjack, roulette, or live casino action, this isn’t the place yet. It’s purely slots and slot-adjacent games at this stage.

The lobby is clean and easy to navigate. Categories filter along the top tab bar, there’s a search function, and the dark-themed interface loads quickly. Games can also be saved to My Games for quick access.

Bonuses and Promotions

Welcome Bonus

When you register, you’re offered a free $10 Welcome Coin Pack.

First Purchase Offer

This is genuinely one of the stronger first purchase offers in the social casino space. Your first coin pack — normally $29.99 — drops to just $9.99 today. That’s effectively a 200% bonus on your first purchase, and that $9.99 gets you 1.5 million Gold Coins.

Refer a Friend

You earn SC 100 for every friend who successfully signs up through your referral link. That’s among the more generous referral bonuses you’ll see at a social casino.

Verify and Earn

Complete your identity verification and you get free SC credited to your account.

Coinsback

This is the whole reason the casino exists, so it’s worth understanding properly.

Every time you spin, CoinsBack tracks the theoretical house edge of that game in real time and drops 50% of it straight into your CoinsBack balance as SC. Doesn’t matter if you win, lose, or break even — you earn every single time. You claim your balance whenever you want from the dedicated Claim CoinsBack page, with no minimum threshold and no delays.

To put it in plain terms: if a game has a 5% house edge and you spin $10 worth of SC, the house theoretically keeps $0.50. CoinsBack gives you $0.25 of that back, instantly. Every spin.

Compare that to most social casinos where you’re chasing a VIP host for recognition or waiting a week to find out what you’ve earned. CoinsBack makes the whole thing automatic and transparent.

The CoinsBack reward is specifically on SC gameplay, not GC. So it’s the redeemable currency that accumulates, not just fun-play coins. That matters.

Coinsclub — Loyalty Program

CoinsClub is CoinsBack’s tiered loyalty program and it’s genuinely well structured. You earn 1 XP for every SC played, and that XP is lifetime — it never resets, ever. That’s a meaningful commitment from the platform because it means every spin you take counts permanently toward your rank.

There are 14 ranks in total across four tiers: Bronze (starting rank), Silver I through IV, Gold I through IV, Platinum I through IV, and Royalty at the top.

Each rank-up pays out a free SC bonus. Silver I pays SC 20. Silver II pays SC 30. Silver III pays SC 40. Silver IV pays SC 60. Gold I pays SC 100. Gold II pays SC 250. Gold III pays SC 400. Gold IV pays SC 500. Platinum I pays SC 600. Platinum II pays SC 1,000. Platinum III pays SC 1,500. Platinum IV pays SC 2,500. Royalty pays SC 3,000. Completing all 14 ranks earns a cumulative total of SC 10,000 in rank-up bonuses.

The XP requirements scale steeply. Silver I needs 10,000 XP. Royalty needs 5,000,000 XP — meaning you need to play 5,000,000 SC worth of games to reach the top rank. That’s a serious commitment. Most players will realistically land somewhere in the Gold or Platinum range, where the rewards start getting meaningful.

Royalty tier unlocks a dedicated VIP host, priority 24/7 support, expedited redemption processing, exclusive Royalty-only tournaments, and personalised gifts and VIP experiences.

The CoinsBack mechanic stacks on top of CoinsClub. So you’re earning instant SC back per spin through CoinsBack and rank-up bonuses through CoinsClub simultaneously.

Leaderboards

There’s a live hourly leaderboard right on the lobby page. It resets every hour. Top three finishers win SC 70, SC 40, and SC 25 respectively. It’s competitive and requires no opt-in. A nice extra layer of value for active players.

Payments

CoinsBack accepts Google Pay, and card payments via Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, and Visa. Skrill is listed as coming soon but isn’t live yet.

There is a processing fee of 2.9% on all purchases, with a maximum cap of $10. This is clearly disclosed at checkout before you confirm. A $9.99 purchase comes to $10.28 after the fee. A $29.99 purchase would come to approximately $30.86.

Compared to crypto-only platforms like Stake.us, the card payment option is a meaningful advantage. Most casual players don’t hold crypto, so paying with Visa or Apple Pay keeps things much more accessible. Skrill coming soon will add another option for players who prefer e-wallets.

Withdrawals and Redemptions

SC can be redeemed for prizes. The redemption section is accessible from the main navigation, and redemption history is tracked in your account dashboard under Redemption History.

Redemption requests can also be tracked through your SC History tab. Royalty members benefit from expedited redemption processing as a tier perk, which implies standard processing times apply to everyone else.

The specific redemption rates, minimum redemption amounts, and standard processing timelines aren’t fully detailed in the publicly available pages. Given CoinsBack only launched in April 2026, some of these details are still being established. Contact support before making purchasing decisions based on redemption expectations — that’s the honest advice here.

What is confirmed: SC earned through gameplay, the CoinsBack mechanic, and rank-up bonuses is redeemable. CoinsBack SC can be claimed on-demand with no stated minimum.

KYC

CoinsBack requires identity verification and uses Sumsub — a widely used third-party KYC provider — for the process. This involves submitting a photo ID and going through a facial recognition check that matches your face to your ID document.

Phone verification via SMS is mandatory during registration. You need to provide and verify a phone number to access the platform.

For data deletion requests, CoinsBack requires identity verification before processing them. Contact dataprivacy@coinsbackcasino.com.

CoinsBack collects a broad range of personal data including name, address, email, phone number, date of birth, payment information, device data, location data, and browsing activity on the platform. It may also collect Social Security Number where required for tax or legal compliance purposes. Data is retained for 3 years across most categories.

VPN Usage

CoinsBack is available in the United States and Canada.

Don’t use a VPN on CoinsBack. The Terms and Conditions explicitly state that circumventing location or eligibility restrictions — including through VPN or proxy services — is a breach of the Terms. The consequences can include account closure and legal action. Your real location needs to match an eligible jurisdiction.

Responsible Gaming

The responsible gaming tools are properly built out, not just a checkbox. Spending limits — daily, weekly, or monthly — can be set directly in the Spending Controls section of your account dashboard. Limit reductions apply immediately. Increases or removals take effect after a 72-hour cooling-off period, which is a deliberate friction that genuinely helps.

Short breaks of 24 hours or 7 days are available directly in account settings. Self-exclusion for 6 months or longer requires emailing support@coinsbackcasino.com with the subject line “Responsible Play Request.” During any exclusion period, your account stays inactive but your data and remaining virtual currency balance are preserved.

The platform lists Gaming Addicts Anonymous (helpline@gaais.org) and the National Council on Problem Gambling (1-800-522-4700, available 24/7 by phone, text, and online chat) as independent support resources.

Account deactivation without a set timeframe is also available by contacting support. Your data and play history are preserved securely.

Account Management

Your account dashboard covers Profile, Security, Verification, Location, Preferences, Spending Controls, Payment Methods, Purchase History, SC History, Game History, Redemption History, and Promo Codes. Everything you’d expect is in one place.

Inactive accounts — meaning no login or logout activity for 60 days — can be deactivated and balances forfeited. That’s a short window by industry standards. If you’re planning a break longer than two months, either log in occasionally or request a formal self-exclusion rather than just walking away.

Only one account per person is permitted. Duplicate accounts can result in closure and forfeiture.

Is CoinsBack Casino a Scam?

CoinsBack is a genuinely interesting launch from an experienced operator. The CoinsBack mechanic is transparent, instant, and clearly explained — which puts it ahead of most social casinos that bury reward logic in vague VIP tiers and manual claim processes. The lifetime XP in CoinsClub, the strong first purchase offer, and accessible card payments all point to a platform that’s been thoughtfully designed.

If you’re an existing social casino player who’s frustrated with opaque reward systems, CoinsBack’s core promise is worth trying. The first purchase offer is strong enough to make the initial experience low-risk. If you want a fully mature platform with 1,000+ games, live dealer tables, and an established track record, give it another 12 months to grow.
